As one of the world's largest aircraft manufacturers, Boeing has a significant impact on global transportation and travel. However, the Boeing's repeated safety issues have raised serious concerns about its products and practices. Most recently, the Federal Aviation Administration grounded hundreds of Boeing 737 Max 9 aircraft after a dramatic in-flight incident on Alaska Airlines flight 1282, when a door plug was blown off the side of the plane.

The two fatal crashes of the Boeing 737 Max aircraft in 2018-2019 highlighted serious design flaws and failures in the company's communication and training processes. This resulted in the grounding of the 737 Max and a halt to its production, costing Boeing billions of dollars and raising questions about its ability to deliver safe and reliable products. Worst, hundreds of innocent people lost their lives.

Boeing's involvement in the military-industrial complex is also a cause for concern. The company's weapons systems and technologies have been used in numerous conflicts around the world, and its close ties to the U.S. government have led to allegations of corruption and cronyism. This involvement in the military-industrial complex has raised ethical concerns and questions about the company's priorities and values.

Additionally, Boeing has faced allegations of corporate misconduct, including bribery and fraud, leading to legal and financial penalties. These issues have raised doubts about the company's commitment to ethical and responsible business practices, as well as lawsuits from investors and customers. These ethical and legal issues suggest a lack of accountability and responsibility on the part of the company's leadership.

Boeing has a significant presence in global aviation and military markets, so its recent safety issues, ethical concerns, and legal challenges have made it a cause for concern for many stakeholders, including consumers, investors, and regulators.

Boeing Safety App

Everyone has a right to know whether a flight they are booking is flown on a Boeing aircraft, especially if it might be a 737 Max. Boeing Safety is currently developing an app that will make it free and easy for anyone, anywhere to input their flight details to determine if they would need to fly on a Boeing aircraft so they can take safety into their own hands.
